Basically, I am a backyard archer. I love to shoot in leagues, and go to 3-D shoots, but most of my shooting occurs in my back yard. There is only one thing wrong with that. I never have a place to set my bow, when I am collecting my arrows(or at least, looking for them). A couple of times, I have dug a whole, set a post, drove a nail or two, and made some kinda juryrigged bow hanger that would work for a time or two. But then I would change where I want to shoot (rather, my wife would TELL me to change where I shoot), and I would be without my hanger again. Well, Bowtree, Inc. has just solved my problem. The back yard bowtree is not only a perfect bow hanging tool, it is portable! Now when I need, or even just want to move my shooting position, I just pull up the tree, move it to its new location and reset it. The tree is made of solid zinc , not hollow, bendable junk that will collapse on you. The hanger is covered with Neoprene UV/weather resistant Bowtree rubber. You insert the lower end into the ground and it is there to stay until you are ready to move it. I happen to live on real sandy soil. I was a bit concerned that the post was not going to be long enough to provide the stability I needed in that soil. But I was wrong. The bowtree inserted easily, and stayed where I put it.
